Abolhassan A’lami Eshtehardi

On 10th of June 1981, Eshtehari issued death sentences to 7 members of Hamedan’s Baha'i Holy Circle, on charges of collaboration with the former regime, espionage for Israel and propagation of the Baha'i faith. These 7 members were Hossein Motlagh, Suhrab Habibi, Soheil Habibi, Hossein Khandel, Tarazallah Khazin, Nasser Vafaie, and Firouz Naimie. They were executed on 14th of June 1981. The members of the Baha’i Holy Circle are elected by the members of Baha'i community locally, nationally and internationally, to govern the affairs of the Baha'i community.
