Ali Rezvanmanesh, as the Deputy Prosecutor of Karaj, has been involved in the judicial process and the issuance of death sentences for children under 18 years of age. Among others, Rezvanmanesh is responsible for the public execution of Alireza Molla Soltani, accused of murder, who was under the age of 18 at the time of the crime and at the time of execution.

On 25 April, 2012, the European Union put Ali Rezvanmanesh on its list of human rights sanctions due to his role in "severe human rights violations in the judicial process" as well as "the issuance of the death penalty for persons under 18 years of age." As a result, Rezvanmanesh is banned from entering the EU and his assets in Europe will be frozen.
