      Description

      Aref Norouzi, as director of the property and real estate department of  Executive Headquarters of Imam Khomeini’s order (EHIKO), has played a key role in confiscating and selling the property of Iranian citizens, especially ethnic minorities and political opponents. During Norouzi’s tenure, from July 2008 to 2013, EHIKO advertised a total of 7,238 items, in which 6490 properties were put on auction.

      Among the ads were confiscated property belonging to Baha'is, dissidents and political prisoners. These include the following property:

      A plot of land belonging to the Baha'is of Evil village (announced for auction in June 2009)

      A residential unit located on Shariati Street, Tehran belonging to the Sadeghi family (Gholam Hossein and Hassan Sadeghi) political dissidents (Announced for auction in November 2013)

      A residential unit located on Shariati St, Tehran, owned by Fatemeh Masih, political dissident (Announced for auction in November 2013).

       

      The family lands Baha'i citizens, of Nasheri Family, located in the village of Hosseinabad Krous Bala in Ivaneki with an approximate area of ​​279550 square meters (Announced for auction in November and December 2013)
