Jamashiani, as the Police Commander of the city of Shadegan, and a member of City Security Council is directly responsible for ordering the use of deadly weapons against unarmed protesters during the November 2019 nationwide protests in this city, which resulted in the death of at least 1 protester.
The nationwide protests of 2019, known as the protests of November 2019, were a series of large-scale popular demonstrations against the Iranian government, which began on 15 November, 2019 in protest of the tripling of gasoline prices and quickly turned into anti-government protests that spread to 29 provinces in more than 100 cities across the country. According to Reuters at least 1500 were killed during the protests. Amnesty International, verified the identity of 304 protesters killed by the security forces.

Eskandar Jamashiani, as the police commander of the Shadegan (Falahiyah), was responsible for the violent suppression of peaceful protests in Shadegan. Jamashiani-led forces used brutal violence, including tear gas, pepper spray, heavy beatings, and in particular direct shooting at protesters with deadly weapons, to suppress peaceful protests in Shadegan. The Use of lethal weapons by the police and other security forces led to the death of at least one protester, Mustafa Naimawi and injuring many protesters and passers-by.
Peaceful protests against the water cut in Khuzestan province, which began on July 15, 2021 in various cities of the province, were brutally suppressed by security forces. According to several news sources, as of July 21, at least 9 protesters including 17-year-old Qassem Khaziri and 30-year-old Mustafa Naimawi, 17-year-old Hadi Bahmani, 20-year-old Mohammad Koroushat and 16-year-old Mohammad Abdollahi had been killed by direct shooting from security forces.
