Masoud Aali responsible for hate crime against the LGBTI+ community in his role as Seminary teacher
The LGBTI+ community played a big role in the 2022-23 protests. Masoud Aali has defamed and degraded the LGBTI+ community with derogative language.
In a speech on 28th of December 2022, he said: “The decrease in hijab and making it optional, freedom of relationships, acceptance of homosexuality, and subsequently the destruction of family values, are the goals of our enemies.”
Mahsa (Jina) Amini was killed on 16 September 2022 while being in custody of the Morality Police of the Islamic Republic. In protest of her death, a nationwide uprising broke out in Iran which is still ongoing in various forms in different cities. According to the reports of human rights organizations, the police and security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran have killed at least 537 citizens, including 68 children, during the revolutionary uprising of the Iranian people.- Sources
