In his role as an investigator with the Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor’s Office for Tehran’s District 33, Moradi is responsible for issuing indictment order for women detained during the “Woman, Life, Freedom” protests on the basis of their non-compliance with mandatory hijab.
He issued a large number of women with the charge: Encouraging people to corruption and prostitution by encouraging the removal of hijab in public places. He requested the prosecutor to issue an indictment against these women on the basis of this charge.
The 2022-2023 protests began following the killing of Mahsa (Jina) Amini on September 13, 2022, while in the custody of the Islamic Republic's Moral Security Police. Amidst the protests and afterwards, women have resisted the mandatory hijab in various ways and have suffered widespread repression, including denial of public services, education, arrest, court cases, fines, and imprisonment.- Sources

- Mahmoud Hajmoradi, as an investigator at the Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor’s Office of the 33rd Shahid Moghaddas District of Tehran, is responsible for issuing summonses for women arrested in the Women, Life, Freedom protests. He issued many women with the following charges and requested the prosecutor to issue an indictment on their basis: • Gathering and conspiring to commit a crime against internal/external security Activities promoting propaganda against the State Disturbing public order and peace through participation in illegal assembly The 2022-23 protests began following the death of Mahsa (Gina) Amini on September 13, 2022, in the detention of the morality police of the Islamic Republic. These protests quickly spread across the country and are remembered as the largest revolutionary uprising against the government since the establishment of the Islamic Republic. The Iranian government responded to these protests with deadly violence. According to human rights organizations, the security forces of the Islamic Republic have killed at least 551 people, with a minimum of 68 of them being children.
