- Naseri is responsible for rejecting appeals and confirming fines and prison sentences for women who did not comply with mandatory veiling laws in the context of the “Woman, Life, Freedom” protests. In numerous cases related to the aftermath of the 2022 protests, he confirmed the conviction of women on charges such as: • Presence of women in public places without the Islamic veil • Encouraging people to corruption and immorality; through • Removing the hijab • Throwing headscarves into fires. The 2022-2023 protests began following the killing of Mahsa (Jina) Amini on September 13, 2022, while in the custody of the Islamic Republic's Moral Security Police. Amidst the protests and afterwards, women have resisted the mandatory hijab in various ways and have suffered widespread repression, including denial of public services, education, arrest, court cases, fines, and imprisonment.

- As an advisor to Branch 36, Naseri is also responsible for rejecting appeals and upholding fines and prison sentences for women who participated in the “Woman, Life, Freedom” protests. He has convicted several cases on charges such as:
• Disturbing public order (Mahsa)
• Gathering and conspiring to commit a crime against internal/external security (Mahsa)
• Insulting the Supreme Leader
• Propaganda against the Islamic Republic (Mahsa).
The Women, Life, Freedom protests began following the killing of Mahsa (Jina) Amini on September 13, 2022, while in the custody of the Islamic Republic’s Moral Security Police. The protests quickly spread across the country and are considered the largest revolutionary uprising against the government since the founding of the Islamic Republic. The government in Iran responded to these protests with deadly violence.
According to reports from human rights organizations, the Islamic Republic’s law enforcement and security forces have killed at least 551 people, at least 68 of whom were children.
